What is happening?
Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U67002, Lilly Hall Lane, Little Marcle, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U67002, Lilly Hall Lane, Little Marcle, outside 1 Rowlands Green Cottage. Grid Ref: 368725/236751. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Little Marcle Road onto Leadon Way, onto Ross Road and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to stop tap works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 26th of October 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
