Fennington Lane and Pickney Lane, Temporary Road Closure Due To Pole Works

Temporary Closure of Fennington Lane and Pickney Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Fennington Lane - from the junction with Pickney Lane, northwards for a distance of 172 metres; and Pickney Lane - from the junction with Fennington Lane, south-eastwards for a distance of 127 metres. A total distance of 199 metres. This Order will enable Utility Services Ltd to replace a pole on behalf of Openreach.
The Order becomes effective on 12th October 2023 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 19th October 2023 and last until 19th October 2023 between the hours of 08:00 -16:00 for a total of 8 hours.
