Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) A342 (Part), Rushall; from its junction with Church Lane to its junction with Rushall Drove to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out new footway construction and embankment works and other associated works. Alternative route for vehicles under 4.5 metres via A342 (unaffected length) - A345 - Rushall Road - Pewsey Road and vice versa. Alternative route for vehicles over 4.5 metres via A342 (unaffected length) - A338 - A346 - A4 - A361 - A342 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 23 October 2023 and the closure will be required until 27 October 2023. J) Rivar Road (Part), Shalbourne; from its property known as Apple Tree Cottage to outside its property known as Ashley House to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out road crossing and other associated works. This Order will come into operation on 02 October 2023 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 16:30 for 5 days. L) B4069 (Part), Dauntsey, Lyneham and Bradenstoke; from its junction with Clack Hill, Daunsey to its junction with Hollow Way, Lyneham and Bradenstoke to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out an emergency closure due to land slip. Alternative route: via B4069 (unaffected length) - A3102 - A4 - A420 -B4069 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 01 October 2023 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 31 December 2024 or until works have been finished. M) C151 (Part), Castle Combe; from its junction with School Lane to its junction with Dunns Lane to enable Openreach to carry out renewal of carriageway frame and cover and associated works. Alternative route via B4039 - C71 - C160 - C151 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 06 October 2023 and the closure will be required for 1 day. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (No.31) 2023 (Ref TTRO 9006)

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily, to all vehicles, the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this notice. The order is required to enable carriageway patching, surface dressing and associated maintenance works and will be operative from the 23 October 2023 for a maximum period of 18 months. The closures are anticipated to be for up to 5 days but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works. It is anticipated that advance signs will be deployed 2 weeks prior to the closure dates. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily, to all vehicles, the length of road specified in the Schedule to this notice. The Order, which previously came into operation on 31 July 2023 will now recommence on 04 October 2023. It is required to enable carriageway micro asphalt dressing and associated maintenance works. The Order has a maximum duration period of 18 months. It is anticipated that advance signs will be deployed 2 weeks prior to the closure dates. Notice is hereby given that an Inspector will be appointed by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to determine The Wiltshire Council Parish of Ogbourne St Andrew Path No. 38 Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2020 and will attend at: Silks on the Downs, Main Road, Ogbourne St Andrew, Wiltshire, SN8 1RZ. On Tuesday 31 October 2023 at 10.00am.To hold a public local inquiry into the Order. The appointed Inspector will also open the Inquiry as a virtual event on Tuesday 31 October 2023 at 10.00am.
