ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Steeple Aston, Fir Lane Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 25 September 2023 Coming into force: 2 October 2023 This Order is being introduced because of trenching for broadband installation which is anticipated to take 8 days to complete.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in Fir Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via North Side, Fenway, A4260, road from Middle Aston Lane to Oxford Road, Middle Aston Lane, & Oxford Road.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T12328)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Upper Heyford, Camp Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 27 March 2023

Works continue: 16 October 2023 This Order was introduced because of resurfacing work in April 2023. Additional work is necessary and is anticipated to be completed end of October 2023. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of Camp Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when and where the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Camp Road, Station Road, B4030, Heyford Road, B430 and Vice Versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T12494/RMF)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order and Speed Restriction

Wendlebury, Little Chesterton Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 9 October 2023 Coming into force: 16 October 2023 This Order is being introduced because of construction activities associated with the development of the Symmetry Park which are anticipated to take 26 days to complete. The effect of the Order is:

1) To temporarily prohibit through traffic proceeding in Little Chesterton Road west of the A41; and

2) To temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in excess of 50 mph.

Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

Exemptions are included for emergency services and for

the works and for access to premises which are only

accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative

route for traffic will be signed locally.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of

18 months or until the works have been completed

whichever is the sooner. (Ref .12573/RMF)

5. Bunyan Road (CS77): north side - either side of its junction with Wordsworth Close for a total distance of approx. 25 metres.

6. Kipling Close (CS77): both sides - from its junction with Browning Drive, south-westwards for a distance of approx. 10 metres.

7. Wordsworth Close (CS77): both sides - from its junction with Bunyan Road, northwards for a distance of approx. 20 metres

8. Bucknell Road (CU78):

i. East side - from its northern junction with Stoneburge Crescent, northwards for a distance of approx. 36 metres.

ii. West side - a) either side of its junction with Hudson Street, for a total distance of 32 metres, b) from a point 12 metres north of the southern junction of Stoneburge Crescent, northwards for approx. 22 metres.

9. Hudson Street (CU78):

i. West side - from its junction with Bucknell Road, south-westwards for a distance of approx. 14 metres,

ii. East side - from its junction with Bucknell Road, south-westwards for a distance of approx. 20 metres.

10. Cemetery Road (CX79): both sides - extend the existing DYLs eastwards to cover its entire length.

11. Arkwright Road (CU81): both sides - from its junction with Churchill Road, southwards for a distance of approx. 15 metres.

12. Churchill Road (CU81 & CT81): both sides - from its junction with Launton Road, northwards to a point 6 metres northwest of the rear access to Nos.104-124, a distance of approx. 298 metres.

13. Cranesbill Drive (CR78): west side - from a point 26 metres northwest of its junction with Fluellen Place, north-westwards for a distance of approx. 38 metres (between the current road narrowing features)

14. Graham Road (CT78):

i. North side - adjacent to the play area between Nos.14 & 16, for a distance of approx. 28 metres,

ii. South side - opposite the play area adjacent to No.12, for a distance of 18 metres.

15. Medina Gardens (CV76):

i. North & west sides - from the eastern property boundary of No.55, east & northwards for a distance of approx. 76 metres.

ii. East side - from the junction with the access to Nos.62-76, southwards for a distance of approx. 19 metres.

16. Tay Gardens (CU76):

i. North side - extend the existing DYLs, westwards by 17 metres,

ii. South side - extend the existing DYLs, westwards by 10 metres.

17. Victoria Road (CW79 & CW80):

i. West & south sides - replace the existing sections of No Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6pm' between its junction with Launton Road & Bell Lane with DYLs,

ii. East & north sides - a) extend & combine the two Permit Parking bays outside Bath Terrace by removing the section of DYLs between them, b) extend the existing Permit Parking bay adjacent to Manchester & Newport Terrace, southwards by approx. 5 metres.

18. Victoria Court (CW80):

i. South side - a) extend the existing Permit Parking bay north-eastwards by approx. 25 metres, b) replace the existing section of 'No Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6pm' from its junction with Victoria Road with new DYLs,

ii. North side - replace the current section of 'No Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6pm' between its junction with Victoria Road & the access to Nos.1-8 & 9-14 with new DYLs.

The Oxfordshire County Council (Various Roads - Cherwell District) (Map Based) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Permitted Parking) Order 2021 will be further amended as necessary, updating the relevant Map Tiles as referenced above.

Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below by 27 October 2023. (VARIOUS ROADS - CHERWELL DISTRICT) (MAP BASED) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PERMITTED PARKING) (VARIATION No.*) ORDER 20**

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the proposals in accordance with parking policy is to introduce new & amend some existing 'No Waiting at Any Time' (Double yellow lines) parking prohibitions within Bicester as follows:

1. Beckdale Close (Map Tile: CU76): south side - from its junction with Wansbeck Drive, northwards for approx. 10 metres,

2. Wansbeck Drive (CU76 & CV76)

i. West side - from its junction with Beckdale Close, south-westwards for approx. 10 metres,

ii. North side - from its junction with Shakespeare Drive, westwards for a distance of a approx. 16 metres.

3. Brashfield Road (CT79): east side - extend existing DYLs northwards by an additional 3.5 metres.

4. Browning Drive (CS77):

i. South side - a) from the southern property boundary of No.28 southwards for approx. 8 metres, b) extend the existing DYLs north of its junction with Bunyan Road, northwards for an additional 10 metres, c) extend the existing DYLs south of its junction with Bunyan Road, southwards to a point 8 metres south of its junction with Kipling Close, a distance of approx. 96 metres.
