WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

PUBLIC NOTICE

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(B4084 Pershore Road, Cropthorne)

(Temporary 30 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2023

Order Made: To impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on that part of B4084 Pershore Road from its junction with C2023 Haselor Lane for a distance of 940 metres west in both directions.

Reason: Footpath reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 25 days (24 hours including weekends). Commencing: 2 October 2023.

(C2223 Bricklehampton to B4084 Evesham Road, Elmley Castle)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2023 Order made: To close that part of C2223 Bricklehampton to B4084 Evesham Road from its junction with C2007 Little Comberton to Elmley Castle for a distance of 500 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Telecom utility work by Airband.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2007 Little Comberton to Elmley Castle, U46607 New Road, C2223 Bricklehampton to B4084 Evesham Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 4 October 2023.

(U44402 Merstow Green, A4184 Vine Street, A4184 High Street, Link Footpath F40878 Market Place, U44521 Bridge Street, Evesham)

(Temporary Closure & Temporary Suspension of One-Way) Order 2023

Order made: To close various roads and a footpath as follows: -

(a) U44402 Merstow Green - for its entire length.

(b) A4184 Vine Street - from its junction with Merstow Green roundabout to its junction with the High Street (closed southbound)

(c) A4184 High Street - from its junction with Vine Street to its junction with Oat Street (closed southbound).

(d) Link Footpath F40878 Market Place - for its entire length.

(e) U44521 Bridge Street - from its junction with the High Street to its junction with Mill Street.

Suspend the One-Way Order on:

(f) U44519 Mill Street for its entire length. It will be made into a two-way traffic with temporary traffic light control

The Order is being made to facilitate the Annual Mop Fair.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:4 days. Commencing: Wednesday 4 October 2023 (6pm) - Sunday 8 October (2am).

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Various Roads, Eckington) (Revocation) and (30 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2023

On 14 September 2023 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the speed limit on the following lengths of roads in

Eckington to 30 miles per hour:

B4080 Pershore to Tewkesbury Road from a point 335 metres north of its junction with New Road in a southerly direction to a point 300 metres south of Cotheridge Lane.

Monkham Hill - For its entire length.

The Furlong - For its entire length.

Rosa Gardens - For its entire length.

Damson View - For its entire length.

There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 5 October 2023.

(Footpath WP-501, Wyre Piddle)

(Temporary Closure Order) 2023

Proposed Order: To close Footpath WP-501, Wyre Piddle for its entire length.

The Order has been made due to construction works.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary

works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: There is no alternative route.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months, or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed;

whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 23 October 2023.

(B4080 Pershore Road, Eckington)

(Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit) Order) 2023

Proposed order: To impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on that part of B4080 Pershore Road from its junction with U46445 Roman Meadow for a distance of

250 metres in both directions.

Reason: New development works by L Healy Ltd.

Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 23 October 2023.
