Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make
the following Orders.
ASHFORD AREA
THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL
(VARIOUS ROADS, ASHFORD) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS & STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER (AMENDMENT No.2) ORDER 2023
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The Kent County Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority, in exercise of its powers and under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 49, 51, 53, 124 and Part IV of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’) and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act hereby propose to make the following Order:-
The effect of the made Order will be to introduce or amend existing waiting restrictions (DYL means double yellow lines “no waiting at any time” restrictions) in the following length of roads:-
Roads in the Borough of Ashford
TANNERY LANE – (1) On the south side DYL’s to be removed 40 metres from its junction with Station Road for a distance of 9 metres in a south easterly direction and replaced with Time Limited Bays every day with a maximum stay of 15 mins and no return for 2 hours.

DARTFORD AREA

(VARIOUS ROADS, DARTFORD) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2020 (AMENDMENT No.26) ORDER 2023
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is given that The KENT COUNTY COUNCIL acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (hereinafter called “the Act”), and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby proposes to make the following Order:-
The effect of the proposed named Order will introduce or amend existing waiting restrictions on the following lengths of road (in this part of the notice DYL’s means double yellow lines) waiting to be prohibited at any time on the following road:-
Roads in Borough of Dartford
STATION ROAD – (1) On the west side from a point 17 metres north of its junction with Riverview Road removal of permit parking bays to be replaced with DYL’s. (2) On both sides DYL’s to be removed 80 metres north from its junction with Riverview Road to the end of Station Road in the turning head. (3) On the east side from a point 20 metres north of its junction with Riverview Road DYL’s to be removed for a distance of 22 metres and replaced with permit parking bays. (4) On the east side from a point 6.5 metres south of its junction with Riverview Road remove 3.5 metres of DYL and replace and extend the existing permit parking bays. (5) On the east side from a point 105 metres south of its junction with Riverview Road remove 6 metres of DYL and replace and extend the existing permit parking bays.

(VARIOUS ROADS IN THE DISTRICT OF SEVENOAKS) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING & UNLOADING AND ON STREET PARKING PLACES)
(AMENDMENT 53) ORDER 2023
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that KENT COUNTY COUNCIL under sections 1(1), 2 (1) to (3), 3 (2), 4 (1) and (2), 32 (1), 35 (1), 44, 45, 46, 49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter called “the Act”) and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Paragraph 20 of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby proposes to make the following order:-
The effect of the proposed Order will be to amend existing waiting restrictions on the following length of roads due to a new dropped kerb:-
Roads in Sevenoaks in the District of Sevenoaks
BOSVILLE DRIVE – On the southwest side remove the time limited bays with shared residents parking from the boundary of 37/39 Bosville Drive for a distance of 6 meters in a south easterly direction.
