CAMBRIDGESHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

The City of Cambridge (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions And Street Parking Places) Order 2022 (Amendment No. 40) Order 202$

Notice is hereby given that Cambridgeshire County Council proposes to make the above named Order under the powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and the Traffic Management Act 2004 (as amended).
The effect of this Order will be to implement disabled persons parking bays in Cambridge City in the vicinity of: 1-4 Ancaster Way, 53 Kings Hedges Road, 4 Leys Avenue, 17-19 Dennis Road (2 bays), 2 Wetenhall Road, 14 Peverel Road, 140 Peverel Road, 14 Romsey Road, Whitfield Close (at the rear of 21 Northfield Avenue), 23 Owlstone Road, Riverside (outside of St Bartholomew Court), 1 Hall Farm Road, 37 Whitehill Road, 8 Godwin Road, 23 Springfield Road, 25 Kingfisher Way, 16 Catharine Street, 36 Cockerell Road, 37 Grantchester Street, 42 Orchard Avenue, 113 Hemingford Road, 10 Victoria Park and 50 Stourbridge Grove. Replace part of the existing residents parking bay outside of 6 Edward Street, 21 Richmond Road, 36 Searle Street, 68 Abbey Road and Adam & Eve Street (adjacent to 21 Warkworth Street) to install a disabled persons parking bay. Disabled persons parking bays will be removed in the vicinity of 2 Pemberton Terrace, 9 Richmond Road, 23 Victoria Park, 66 Victoria Park, 25 Devonshire Road, 26 Warwick Road, 76 Alpha Terrace, 15 Magrath Avenue, 16 Silverwood Close, 18 George Street, 50 Searle Street and 105 Hemingford Road. The draft Order, together with plans showing the roads and lengths of roads concerned and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined by using this link http://bit.ly/cambridgeshiretro or requested at the email address below.
Objections to the proposal, together with the grounds on which they are made or any additional comments, must be sent in writing to the undersigned or by email to policyandregulation@ cambridgeshire.gov.uk by 25th October 2023 quoting reference PR0971 Comments will be used as part of our consultation process and may be published, anonymised, in reports to committees.
