Portsmouth Avenue, Temporary Road Closure Due To Resurfacing Works
What is happening?
LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 SECTION 14(1) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE PORTSDOWN AVENUE NW11
The BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to the need to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works, they have made an Order which will close Portsdown Avenue NW11 between the eastern boundary wall of No.9 Portsdown Avenue and the western boundary wall of No.7 Portsdown Road, while the works take place. The Order will commence on Monday 2nd October 2023 at 8am and is expected to last for 1 day.
The alternative route for motorists will be via Templars Avenue, Portsdown Avenue, Wentworth Road and vice versa.
If the works are unable to take place on the dates mentioned above, then the works will commence at 8.00am on Monday 23rd September 2023 and is expected to last 1 day. Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Officer in uniform or other uniformed personnel authorised by the Commissioner of the Metropolis.
