THE LEICESTER (NEDHAM STREET) (TEMPORARY) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicester City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be, for the following anticipated period of time to:
Prohibit the movement of all vehicles on Nedham Street between its junction with Upper Charnwood Street and a point 146 metres north-west thereof between 10.00pm until 6.00am each night from Monday 9th October 2023 until Friday 27th October 2023.
Diversion route: Humberstone Road, St Georges Way, Swain Street, Sparkenhoe Street, Melbourne Road, Nedham Street.
The Order will come into effect on the 9th October 2023 and will continue in force for up to 18 months, or until the order is no longer deemed necessary, whichever is the earlier.
This order is made to facilitate bridge painting works taking place and to prevent the likeliness of danger to the public. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
