Down Farm Lane, Temporary Road Closure Due To Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
DOWN FARM LANE, HEADBOURNE WORTHY, WINCHESTER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED:
that part of Down Farm Lane between its junction with Three Maids Hill Roundabout and a point approx. 750 metres East along Down Farm Lane.ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Andover Road, Wellhouse Lane
DURATION OF ORDER: from 9th October 2023 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 5 days between the hours 09:30 -15:30).
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
