Hindley To Stocksfield, Temporary Road Closure Due To Tree Removal Works
What is happening?
NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) B6309 HINDLEY TO STOCKSFIELD, STOCKSFIELD (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6309 Hindley To Stocksfield from its point 60 metres south of its junction with A695 heading south for a distance of 100 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective on the 5th October 2023.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 5th October 2023 between the hours of 08:30 - 15:30 during this period.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the A695, C272, C273 and vice-versa

The closure has been requested by Homegrown Timber Group to remove a tree adjacent to the carriageway. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
