(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Lodge Lane from its junction with Lordens Hill for a distance of approximately 50m in an easterly direction from Monday 2nd October until Friday 6th October 2023.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route is via Lordens Hill, Lidgett Lane, Swinston Hill Road, Dinnington Road, Gildingwells Road, Woodsetts Road and vice versa. (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Royds Avenue from its Junction of Worry Goose lane for a distance of approximately 20m in a westerly direction from Monday 9th. October until Friday 13th. October 2023.
NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order, the road is a cul de sac.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Telecom works).

October until Thursday 12th. October 2023.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via Main Street, Ulley Lane, A618 Main Street, B6067 Aston Lane, B6067 Aughton Lane, Turnshaw Road and vice versa. The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Water repairs).

(TEMPORARY 30 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT RESTRICTION)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily revoke part of The Rotherham Borough Council (Various Roads, Rotherham) (Speed Limits and Speed Derestriction) (Consolidation) Order 2004 and decrease the speed limit from 60 miles hour to 30 miles per hour for motor vehicles travelling along that part of Common Road from its western kerb line of Pocket Handkerchief Lane for a distance of approximately 600m in a north westerly direction from Monday 9th. October until Friday 13th. October 2023.
The reason for the speed limit order is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Safety of site personnel whilst undertaking highway works).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the parts of Town Street and Rother Road at their junctions with Canklow Road for distances of approximately 35m in an easterly direction from Monday 9th. October until Friday 13th. October 2023.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative routes for vehicles affected will be via local neighbouring streets.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Telecom works).

Disabled Residents Designated Parking Place – Godstone Road Rotherham
NOTICE is hereby given that on the 27th. September 2023 Rotherham Borough Council made an Experimental Order under Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to be operative from the 2nd. October 2023 for the duration of 18 months.
ROTHERHAM METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
The effect of the Order if implemented will designate as a disabled residents designated parking place the section of road specified in the Schedule below for use by the resident whose vehicle shall properly display a valid disabled person’s badge and residents parking permit issued by the Council in respect of that vehicle.
SCHEDULE
Godstone Road, Wellgate – for the resident of 37 Godstone Road, Wellgate The south eastern kerbline 7.00 meters from the extended south western kerbline of Tooker Road for a distance of 6.00 metres in a south westerly direction.
A copy of the Order and plan showing the length and side of the road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the Council’s Offices at the address shown below.
The Experimental Order has been made to allow for an assessment of the changes before a decision is taken to make it permanent.
Any person wishing to make representations whether to object or support the

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice. The part of Woodall Lane will be closed from Thursday 12th. October until Tuesday 17th. October 2023. The part of Pryor Mede will be closed for up to five days between Thursday 12th. October and Saturday 28th. October 2023. The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (Electrical works).

(i) Woodall Lane from its junction with Union Street to its junction with Woodall Lane (the alternative route will be via Union Street, Winney Hill, Winney Lane, Harthill Lane, Rotherham Road, Mansfield Road, Woodall Road, Killamarsh Lane, Woodall Lane and vice versa).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along that part of Riverside Walk Footpath from its junction with the Riverside car park to its junction with the unadopted footpath on the south side of the Wilko building from Sunday 1st October 2023 for a period of six months.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative routes for pedestrians is via the footways adjacent to Corporation Street, Bridge Street and vice versa.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice between specified times from Tuesday 10th October until Friday 180h. November 2023. The prohibition from proceeding along the part of road specified in item (i) of the Schedule to this notice will be between 9.30am and 3.30pm during term time and between 9.30am and 4.30pm during school holidays. The prohibition from proceeding along the part of road specified in item (ii) will be between 10pm and 5am Monday to Friday and unrestricted during the daytime on Sundays.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the two parts of road (Installation of new controlled pedestrian crossing facility upon B6060 Morthen Road).
SCHEDULE
(i) B6060 Morthen Road in a southerly direction from the exit from Wickersley
Roundabout (the alternative route will be via A631 Bawtry Road, East Bawtry Road, B6410 Worrygoose Lane, Little Common Lane, Royds Moor Hill and Morthen Lane). Traffic will be permitted towards Wickersley Rounabout from the direction of Thurcroft.
(ii) B6060 Morthen Road in both directions, between Wickersley Roundabout and its junction with Moss Close (the alternative route will be via A631 Bawtry Road, East Bawtry Road, B6410 Worrygoose Lane, Little Common Lane, Royds Moor Hill, Morthen Lane and vice versa).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the three parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice. The part of A631 Bawtry Road will be closed between the hours of 11pm and 5am only from Wednesday 18th October until Friday 27th. October 2023. The part of Atlas Street and Brinsford Road will be closed for periods of time between Monday 9th October and Friday 20th October 2023.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the three parts of road (Installation of telecommunications network).
SCHEDULE
(i) A631 Bawtry Road from the eastern kerb line of Atlas Street to its junction with A630 Canklow roundabout (the alternative route will be via A630 Centenary Way, A6178 Sheffield Road, A631 Bawtry Road and vice versa).
(ii) Atlas Street from its junction with A631 Bawtry Road to its junction with Hadrian Road (the alternative route will be via local neighbouring streets).
(iii) Brinsford Road from its junction with Atlas Street for a distance of approximately 20m in a westerly direction (the alternative route will be via local neighbouring streets).
