What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(JOHNSBURN ROAD AREA, BALERNO)
(TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC
REGULATION) ORDER 2023 – TEMP/23/197

The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate carriageway planing and resurfacing works, no person shall, except with the
permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on both sides of (i) Johnsburn Rd, from its jnct with Main St roundabout, south-westwards to the south-west property boundary of No. 17; (ii) Main St: (1) roundabout in its entirety;
& (2) from its jnct with the roundabout, south-eastwards for 50m; (iii) Larchfield, from its jnct with Main St roundabout, north-westwards for 30m; (iv) Bridge Rd, from its jnct with Main St roundabout, north-eastwards for 25m; (v) Burnside Park, from its jnct with Johnsburn Rd, north-westwards for
20m; & (vi) Lovedale Rd, from its jnct with Johnsburn Rd, south-eastwards for 15m. The Order shall have effect from 2/10/23 to 11/12/23. Existing restrictions will be suspended on the affected sections of roads described.
