What is happening?

WANDSWORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 TEMPORARY CLOSURE – ALLFARTHING LANE SW18

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Allfarthing Lane to facilitate Thames Water utility works.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Allfarthing Lane from outside number 133 to the junction of Garratt Lane. There will be no waiting at any time.

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 6 October 2023 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 9 October 2023.

WANDSWORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 TEMPORARY CLOSURE – SHELGATE ROAD SW11

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Shelgate Road to facilitate Southern Gas Networks utility works.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Shelgate Road outside numbers 26 - 28. There will be no waiting at any time.

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 2 October 2023 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 10 October 2023.

WANDSWORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 TEMPORARY CLOSURE – ST JOHNS HILL SW11

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in St Johns Hill to facilitate Southern Gas Network utility works.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, the eastbound bus lane will be suspended to allow for a contra flow system pushing traffic into the bus lane along St Johns Hill, from outside and opposite numbers 29 to 45. There will be no waiting at any time.

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 2 October 2023 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 13 October 2023.

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Brookview Road to facilitate Thames Water utility works.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Brookview Road, temporary waiting restrictions will be introduced from the junction of Clairview Road to the junction of Nimrod Road. There will be no waiting at any time.

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 25 September 2023 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 20 October 2023.

WANDSWORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 TEMPORARY CLOSURE – CAR FREE DAY STREET PARTIES

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in each street or section of street listed in the Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 to this Order on 23 & 24 September 2023 and may be cited as The Wandsworth (Car Free Day Street Parties).

  2. No person shall enter or cause any vehicle to enter or wait in the roads or sections of road listed in the Schedules to this Order on 23 & 24 September 2023.

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. This Order shall come into operation on 23 September 2023 and the closures commence in the locations and times indicated in the Schedule to this Order.

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Garratt Lane to facilitate Uk Power Networks utility works

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Garratt Lane the southbound bus lane suspended to allow for a contra flow system pushing traffic into the bus lane along Garratt Lane, from outside and opposite number 972 to outside and opposite number 1025. There will be no waiting at any time.

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 30 September 2023 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 1 October 2023.
