Derby City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.

TEMPORARY BUS LANE SUSPENSION ORDER ON OSMASTON ROAD, DERBY

WHEN: 2 October 2023 to 04 October 2023
WHERE: Osmaston Road, from its junction with Grange Street to its junction with Reginald Street
REASON: Drainage works

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON CELANESE ROAD, DERBY

WHEN: 02 October 2023 to 07 October 2023
WHERE: Celanese Road, from outside number 1 for a distance of approximately 20m in a westerly direction
REASON: Carriageway resurfacing

REASON: Gas works

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Bridge Street – Footpath at side of 26 Lodge Lane – Footpath at side of 42 Kingsmead Walk and the same in the opposite direction

Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will be re-opened as soon as the work is finished.

DERBY CITY COUNCIL (HANBURY ROAD) (MOVING VEHICLE RESTRICTIONS)
(AMENDMENT TO MAP BASED SCHEDULE) (NO.43) ORDER 2021

DERBY CITY COUNCIL made this Traffic Regulation Order on the 28th day of September 2023, which will become effective from the 4th day of October 2023 under Sections 1, 2, 4, 9, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53 and part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of schedule 9 to the 1984 Act.

The purpose of the Order is to bring into effect the following: Prohibition of entry for motor vehicles, exemption 1

• Hanbury Road, at its entrance from Chaddesden Park Road

A copy of the Order and a copy of the Authority’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order, may be inspected online at https://www.derby.gov.uk/tro

Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order on the grounds that it is outside the powers of the Acts or because it does not comply with any requirement or regulations made under it, may, within six weeks of the date of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
