What is happening?
BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED) SECTION 14(2) (WINSON GREEN ROAD & HEATH STREET, SOHO & JEWELLERY QUARTER) (7179769) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle to proceed along:
Heath Street between its junction with Dudley Road and its junction with Winson Green Road.
Winson Green Road between its junction with Heath Street and its junction with Dudley Road.
The temporary Order is required to Facilitate Highway Works in Safety.
An alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be signed on site.
Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 2nd October 2023 and will remain in force for a period of 10 weeks or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
