U3022 Curly Lane - Temporary Road Closure

U3022 CURLY LANE LESBURY
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U3022 Curly Lane Lesbury from its junction with Alnmouth Station Side Road to its junction with A1068 for a length of 345 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 17th October 2023 until the 31st March 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 11th December 2023 until the 15th December 2023 between the hours of 08:00 until 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 31st March 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the Lesbury Road, South View and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for resurfacing work.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order
