TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF VARIOUS ROADS FOR CARRIAGEWAY RESURFACING
(VARIOUS PARISHES) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the roads as detailed in the Schedule below.

There will be no stopping or waiting permitted throughout the duration of the works.
The reason for the closures and restrictions are to carry out carriageway resurfacing works.
The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted during various times on a rolling programme commencing the 1st October 2023, where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/ times will be displayed on site prior to the closure/restrictions taking effect. This Order may permit the closure and restriction of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required and it is anticipated all works will be completed by 31st March 2024. Alternative Route – as signed on site. Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the roads and emergency access will be maintained.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION UNCLASSIFIED GROSVENOR SERVICE ROAD (WESTGATE WARD) GLOUCESTER CITY
Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of Unclassified Grosvenor Service Road from its junction with Market Parade to its junction with Station Road for a distance of approximately 67 metres.
The reason for the closure is to facilitate works for Kings Quarter Development.
To facilitate this temporary closure part of the GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ON-STREET PARKING ORDER 2017 will be suspended for the duration of the works and temporary restrictions and changes will be introduced for the duration of the works as per the attached Schedule below.
The road is expected to be closed from the 5th October 2023 until the 4th April 2025 only or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.
Alternative Route – as signed on site. The Number 94 Bus route will operate from the Transport Hub (Bus Station) and so will exit onto Bruton Way directly.
Emergency and pedestrian access will be maintained.
