What is happening?
THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
HUNGERFORD LANE (PART),
SHURLOCK ROW (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2023
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Hungerford Lane from its junction with Darvills Lane to its junction with The Street.
The diversion route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Hungerford Lane, B3018 Waltham Road, B3018 The Straight Mile and The Street.
The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works on the highway, namely new water connection, and as a result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.
The proposed Order will be in operation from 09.30 hours on Tuesday 17 October until 16.30 hours on Friday 20 October 2023. There will a temporary prohibition of driving when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
