What is happening?

TELFORD & WREKIN COUNCIL

THE LEY, DAWLEY, TELFORD PROVISION OF TRAFFIC CALMING (SPEED CUSHIONS) NOTICE 2023 

1. Notice is hereby given that the Borough of Telford & Wrekin in exercise of its powers under Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980 as amended, (hereinafter called ‘the Act’) and of all other enabling powers and after consultations in accordance with section 90C of the Act and Regulation 3(1) of the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999) intends to install road humps along the lengths specified in Schedule to this Order. 

2. The road humps will be 1800mm wide, 3000mm in length and 65mm high. These road humps shall be precast reinforced concreate speed cushions. 

3. Documents detailing the particulars of the proposed Order may be inspected from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday at Darby House, Lawn Central, Overdale, Telford TF3 4JA or your local Parish/Town Council Office (check your local office for opening hours) or at www.Teford.gov.uk/TRO If you have any problems accessing the information at these locations, please call 01952 384000 and ask for Neighbourhood Services.

4. Persons wishing to object to this Notice should do so in writing stating the grounds on which the objection is made in writing by 20th of October 2023 to: traffic.schemes@telford.gov.uk or Network Management, Transport and Highways Development, Darby House, Telford & Wrekin Council, TF3 4JA

The Ley, Dawley, Telford, following the centre road alignment to a point approximately 113, 65, 21 metres southeast of it’s junction with Finger Road.
