What is happening?

Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition Of Left And Right-Hand Turns – Wych Lane/ Dale Drive/ Morris Close/ Fareham Road/ Fareham Reach, Gosport

Notice Is Hereby Given that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

Road(S) To Be Closed:

Fareham Reach (Southern Junction) between its junction with A32 Fareham Road and a point approximately 22 Metres North-East.

Wych Lane between its junction with A32 Fareham Road and its junction with Tukes Avenue.

Prohibition Of Left-Hand Turn - The following junction will prohibit left-hand turn:

Wych Lane no vehicle shall be permitted to turn left onto A32 Fareham Road.

Prohibition Of Right-Hand Turn(S) – The following

junctions will prohibit right-hand turns:

Dale Drive no vehicle shall be permitted to turn right onto Wych Lane.

Morris Close no vehicle shall be permitted to turn right onto Wych Lane.

A32 Fareham Road no vehicle shall be permitted to turn right onto Fareham Reach.

A32 Fareham Road (Eastbound Traffic) no vehicle shall be permitted to turn right onto Wych Lane.

Alternative Route For Road Closure(S):

N/A

B3385, B3334, Carisbrooke Road, Tukes Avenue DURATION OF ORDER: from 9th October 2023 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 4 days between the hours 08:00 – 16:30). Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
