NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following application(s) have been made to the Flintshire County Council in respect of the above legislation.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

SHOTTON

Flintshire County Council has made an Order which prohibits any vehicle from proceeding in Killins Lane between its junctions with Mill Lane Footbridge and property known as Well House, Shotton in the County of Flintshire.

The reason for the closure is to facilitate Excavation of a road crossing required to provide new service with associated works by Quartzelec Ltd.

The alternative route available for vehicles will be signed accordingly by the use of prescribed signs.

The Order comes into force on the 25 September 2023. It is anticipated that the road will only be closed for 2 weeks, or until the earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months.

Notice is hereby given that on the 19th September 2023, Flintshire County Council made an Order in exercise of its powers under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all enabling powers, the effect of which will to:-a) Amend the existing 20 mph and 20 mph Zones Speed Limit Orders listed in the Schedule below. This is due to the Welsh Government default 20 mph Speed restriction implemented from September 17th 2023 and those Orders no longer being required and Restricted Road status as defined by Section 82 of the Act will be therefore be returned on the length of roads contained within these Orders:-SCHEDULE
