NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF FOOTPATH MODIFICATION ORDERS Section 53 of The Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981 Warrington Borough Council Definitive Map & Statement (Public Footpath from Bewsey Farm Close to Sankey Valley Park in the Parish of Burtonwood)
Definitive Map Modification Order 2023
On 20th September 2023 Warrington Borough Council confirmed the above order, made under section 53 of the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the order, as confirmed, is to modify the Definitive Map & Statement for the area by adding to them a public footpath in the parish of Burtonwood & Westbrook, in the borough of Warrington, from a point on Bewsey Farm Cl at NGR 35898 38953 running initially in a north-easterly & then curving to a north-north-westerly direction for a total distance of approx. 225m to a point north of the entrance to the maze at NGR 35902 38974, as indicated by a broken black line between points A & B on the order map. On 20th September 2023 Warrington Borough Council confirmed the above order, made under section 53 of the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the order, as confirmed, is to delete from the definitive map & statement a public footpath from a point at NGR 35884 39143 running in a south-easterly direction for a distance of approx. 43m to its jct. with Europa Blvd at NGR 35888 39140, as indicated by a continuous bold line between points A & C on the order map; & to add to the definitive map & statement a public footpath running from a point at NGR 35884 39143 in a southerly direction for a distance of approx. 31m to its jct. with Europa Blvd at NGR 35885 39140, as indicated by a bold broken line between points A & B on the order map. Ref: 121971
Copies of the confirmed Modification Orders & Order maps may be seen free of charge at Contact Warrington, 1 Time Sq, Warrington, WA1 2NT, between 9am & 5pm, Monday to Friday. Copies of the confirmed Orders & Order maps may be bought there at the price of £1.00. The Orders came into force on 20th September 2023, but if any person aggrieved by the orders desires to question their validity on the grounds that they are not within the powers of section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirements of Schedule 15 to the Act have not been complied with in relation to the Orders, he or she may, under Paragraph 12 of Schedule 15, within 42 days from 21st September 2023 make an application to the High Court.
