EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL (Sutherland Drive, Kilmarnock,) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2023
On 26th September 2023 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Scottish Water Sewer Repairs.
No Waiting At Any Time - Sutherland Drive,Kilmarnock, from 197 Sutherland Drive to 211 Sutherland Drive .
The Order commences on 13 October 2023 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier.
The works are expected to commence from 13 October 2023 at 09:30 with the restrictions remaining in place until 26 October 2023 at 23:59.
Days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL ( Newmill Road, Dunlop) (Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2023
On 26th September 2023 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Carriageway Resurfacing.
Temporary Road Closure – Newmill Road, Dunlop, From its junction with the C 100 to its junction with the C7
No Waiting At Any Time - Newmill Road, Dunlop, From number 22 Newmill road to Old Mill Bridge.
The Order commences on 19 October 2023 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 19 October 2023 at 08:00 until 03 November 2023 at 17:00.
The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times. The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained whenever possible and safe to do so.
Alternative route will be signed via the C7, A735, Newmill Road and vice versa.
Alternative route for High Sided Vehicles via C100, U21, C7 and vice versa.

On 26th September 2023 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Carriageway Resurfacing.
Temporary Road Closure – Fourfields, Catrine, for 300m.
No Waiting At Any Time - Fourfields, Catrine,for 300m.
The Order commences on 16 October 2023 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 16 October 2023 at 08:00 until 23 October 2023 at 17:00.
The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected.
Access for residents and deliveries will be maintained whenever possible and safe to do so.
No Diversion Route Available.
SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL (A719 Kirkoswald Road, Maidens) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2023
On 21st September 2023 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to facilitate Carriageway Resurfacing.
Temporary Road Closure – A719 Kirkoswald Road, Maidens for 1950m.
The Order commences on 16 October 2023 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 16 October 2023 at 09:00 until 12 November 2023 at 17:00.
The road is expected to be closed between 09:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected.
Access for residents and deliveries will be maintained when safe to do so .
An alternative route will be signed via Travel South from closure to Turnberry onto junction of Kirkoswald Road, turn left, travel A77 and continue along A77 to Kirkoswald Road round about in Maybole, travel straight to Maybole bypass roundabout in Maybole, turn left and travel B7023 continuing onto A719, travel A719 continuing onto closure and vice versa.
SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL ( Main Street , Dalmellington Road , Straiton) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2023
On 21 September 2023 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow BT Works.
No Waiting At Any Time - Main Street , Dalmellington Road, Straiton.
Main Street - From Junction of Dalmellington Road Westbound for 50m and Eastbound for 50m.
Main Street - From Black Bull Hotel Eastbound for 110m Dalmellington Road - From Junction of Main Street Northbound on both side of the road for 130m. The restrictions are expected to be in place between 09:30 and 15:30 each day.
The Order commences on 09 October 2023 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 09 October 2023 at 09:30 with the restrictions remaining in place until 03 November 2023 at 15:30.
Days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL ( Main Street , Dundonald) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2023
On 21 September 2023 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Footway Resurfacing.
No Waiting At Any Time - Main Street , 420m All parking spaces from Old Loans Road roundabout to junction of Kilmarnock Road, length of road being restricted.
The Order commences on 09 October 2023 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. To minimise inconvenience, the works will be carried out in phases and are expected to commence from 09 October 2023 at 08:00 with the restrictions remaining in place until 05 November 2023 at 17:00. Days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
