NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council has made an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:
Black Lane, Gorefield (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023-1147
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Black Lane, Gorefield as lies between Gemlee Cottage and Gables. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this order. The alternative route for vehicles is via Harolds Bank –
Honeyhill Road – High Side and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 6 October 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 5 April 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs 6 October 2023.
Long Drove, Murrow (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023-1148
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Long Drove, Murrow as lies between Hooks Drove and Cants Drove. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this order. The alternative route for vehicles is via Hooks Drove – Black Drove – Cants Drove and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate pipe laying and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 23 October 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the
22 April 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 23 October and 10 November 2023.
Chatteris Footpath 14, Chatteris
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2023-1151
Is to stop any pedestrian from proceeding along Chatteris Footpath 14, Chatteris as lies between Wenny Road and the A142. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this order. The alternative route for pedestrians will be as signed. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate vegetation removal, ditch surveying and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 16 October 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 17 April 2024 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 16 October and 20 October 2023.
Hooks Drove, Murrow (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023-1153
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Hooks Drove, Murrow as lies between Alley Farm and Willows House. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this order. The alternative route for vehicles is via Long Drove – Cants Drove – Black Drove and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 18 October 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 17 April 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs 18 October to 19 October 2023.
Back Road, Friday Bridge (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023-1154
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Back Road, Friday Bridge as lies between numbers 21 and 41. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this order. The alternative route for vehicles is via March Road – Main Road and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water connection and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 4 October 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 3 April 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 4 October and
6 October 2023.
Burnt House Road (C71), Turves (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023-1155
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Burnt House Road (C71), Turves as lies between points 20m either side of the railway level crossing situated there as measured from its gates or barriers. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this order. The alternative route for vehicles is via March Road – A605 – Wype Road, Eastrea – B1093 – CockBank, Whittlesey and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 21 October 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 20 April 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 21 October and 23 October 2023 (various times).
Wayside Estate and Crown Road, Christchurch (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023-1156
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Wayside Estate and Crown Road, Christchurch as lies between Upwell Road and Crown Avenue. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this order. The alternative route for vehicles is via Crown Road – Upwell Road and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate replacement of poles and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 26 October 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 25 April 2025 whichever is the earlier.
Fridaybridge Road, Elm (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023-1157
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Fridaybridge Road, Elm as lies between number 99 and Wales Bank. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this order. The alternative route for vehicles is via Main Road – March Road – Twenty Foot Road – A141 – A47 – Elm High Road – High Road – Main Road and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway improvement and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 23 October 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 22 April 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 07:30hrs and 17:00hrs 23 October to 25 October 2023.
Sixteen Foot Bank (B1098), Stonea (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023-1158
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Sixteen Foot Bank (B1098), Stonea as lies between points 20m either side of the railway bridge situated there as measured from its gates or barriers. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this order. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1098. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 2 October 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 1 April 2025 whichever is the earlier .It is anticipated that these works will be carried out overnight between 08:00hrs and 16:00hrs 2 October to 6 October 2023.
High Road and Barton Road, Wisbech St Mary (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023-1167
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along High Road and Barton Road, Wisbech St Mary as lies between The Jetty and Lords Lane. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this order. The alternative route for vehicles is via Barton Road – North Brink – Chapel Road – North End – Leverington Road – Dowgate Road – Leverington Common, Leverington –
Leverington Common, Gorefield – High Side – Main Road – Station Road – Murrow Bank – Gull Road – High Road – Black Drove – High Road, Wisbech St Mary and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway improvements and associated works which are being carried
out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 23 October 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 22 April 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 07:30hrs and 18:00hrs 23 October to 26 October 2023.
Gull Road (B1187), Guyhirn (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023-1168
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Gull Road (B1187), Guyhirn as lies between Tall Trees Leisure Park and Follys Drove. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this order. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1187 – A47 – B1167 – B1166 – B1187and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water connection and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 11 October 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 10 April 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated
that these works will be carried out between 11 October and 13 October 2023.
Market Place, March (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023-1173
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Market Place, March as lies between numbers 12 and 24. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this order. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water connection
and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 3 October 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 2 April 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 3 October and
6 October 2023.
Sixteen Foot Bank (B1098), Stonea (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023-1174
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Sixteen Foot Bank (B1098), Stonea as lies between The Chase and The Old Chapel. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this order. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1098 – B1099 – B1101 – A141 – B1093 and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway lining and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 16 October 2023 and continue until these works have
finished or on the 15 April 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 16 October and 18 October 2023.
West End, March (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023-1175
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along West End, March as lies between numbers 87 and 96a. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this order. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate erection of scaffolding and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 30 October 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 29 April 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between
30 October to 6 November 2023.
Main Road, Parson Drove (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023-1177
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Main Road, Parson Drove as lies between Newlands Road and Sealeys Lane. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this order. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1187 – B1542 – Sandbank, Wisbech St Mary – B1166 and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate sewer connection works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 16 October 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 15 April 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will
be carried out between 16 October and 20 October 2023.
High Road (B1542), Wisbech St Mary (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023-1178
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along High Road (B1542), Wisbech St Mary as lies between Sandbank and Orchard Way. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this order. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1542 – B1166 – High Side – B1166 – B1187 – B1542 and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate installation of a vac pot, breather post and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 30 October 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 29 April 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 30 October and 3 November 2023.
Kirkhams Lane, Molls Drove and Needham Bank,
Elm (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2023-1179 Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Kirkhams Lane, Molls Drove and Needham Bank, Elm as lies between Needham Bank and Kirkhams Lane; Railway Carriage and 1880 Farm; Needham Bank and Dicks Cottage respectively. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this order. The alternative route for vehicles is via Gosmoor Lane – B1101 – Well End – Needham Bank and vice versa or Needham Bank – The Cottons – Basin Road – A1101 – B1101 – Well End and vice versa or Molls Drove – The Cottons – Basin Road – A1101 – B1101 – Well End – Needham Bank
and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 12 October 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 11 April 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between
09:30hrs and 15:30hrs 12 October 2023.
Fridaybridge Road (B1101), Elm (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023-1212
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Fridaybridge Road (B1101), Elm as lies between numbers 207 and 215. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this order. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1101 – A47 – A141 – Twenty Foot Road – B1101 and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate sewer connection and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 16 October 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 15 April 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated
that these works will be carried out between 16 October and 20 October 2023. Access will be maintained to properties affected by these orders. The above orders shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which these are made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special
Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
