54-64 Dairyground Road - Footpath Closure to Be Executed to Safely Install Duct Overlay
What is happening?
THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT ROAD (PASSAGEWAY TO THE REAR OF 54-64 DAIRYGROUND ROAD, BRAMHALL) (FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which will be to introduce a Temporary Footpath Closure on the footway at the passageway to the rear of 54-64 Dairyground Road, Bramhall for the full length, whilst traffic signs to that effect are in place on or near the said road.
This Order is necessary because works are being, or are proposed, to be executed to safely install duct overlay.
It is anticipated that the maximum duration of the works will be 5 working days. Alternative routes will be provided via the Passageway from Dairyground Road to Delfur Road, Delfur Road, Dairyground Road, Truro Close, and vice versa.
This Order came into operation on the 25 September 2023 and will have effect for eighteen months, provided that if all necessary works are completed within a shorter period this Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Ref: PLA005.3097.
