Mabels Furlong, Temporary Road Closure Due To Gas Works
What is happening?
Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order:
U67230, Mabels Furlong, Ledbury, Temporary Road Closure Order,
to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U67230, Mabels Furlong, Ledbury, outside number 1 to outside number 20. Grid Ref: 371125/237143.There is no alternate route for those affected by this proposal
The said closure is required due to gas main works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place.
The said closure will come into force on 16th of October 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 26 days.
