What is happening?

LEEDS CITY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –  SECTION 14(1)

(Bowling Green Terrace, Holbeck) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Northern Gas Network works, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be as follows:- No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along the following locations: 1. Bowling Green Terrace, Holbeck, Leeds in the Beeston & Holbeck Ward at its junction with Jack Lane. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Jack Lane, Marshall Street, Trent Street; or Trent Street, Marshall Street, Sweet Street, Dewsbury Road, Jack Lane. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to operate from: a. 00:00 hours on Thursday 5th October 2023 and works are expected to be completed by 23:59 hours on Wednesday 18th October 2023. (Non Definitive Footpath, Leeds, Diadem Drive Subway) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because construction works are being executed on or near the under mentioned footpath, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall proceed along Diadem Drive Subway, starting next to number 22 Diadem Drive to the Junction of Whitebridge Crescent/ Whitebridge Spur. DIVERSIONARY ROUTE: A diversionary route for pedestrians will be York Road, Selby Road, Dunhill Rose, Whitebridge Crescent. The Order is intended to come into operation on 16 October 2023 and will remain in force for a period of 6 months. It is anticipated the works will be carried out between 10am and 4pm on 16th October 2023.
