What is happening?

(Churchgate Street, Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Churchgate Street, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from its junction with Sheering Road for a distance of approximately 275m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th October 2023 for 2 nights (20:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2346999 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Hobbs Cross Road, Burnside Terrace, Foster Street, Harlow Common, Potter Street, Second Avenue, A414 Between Southern Town Boundary and Harlow Mill Roundabout, First Avenue, Gilden Way, Gilden Way Spur, Sheering Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 28th September 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hawes Lane, Waltham Abbey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hawes Lane, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Sewardstone Road for a distance of approximately 250m in a north-westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th October 2023 for 1 night (20:00-06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (XJ006EPF25349-LB7 - Hutchison 3G Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Hutchison 3G Ltd.

The Order will come into effect on 28th September 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Laundry Lane, Nazeing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Waltham Road, Nazeing) (Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Laundry Lane, Nazeing in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Waltham Road for a distance of approximately 110m in a north-westerly direction.

2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in that length of Waltham Road, Nazeing in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 570m northeast of its junction with St Leonards Road for a distance of approximately 170m for the duration of the above closure only.

The closure/restriction are scheduled to commence on 16th October 2023 for 11 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX06054710/AP & 54710/AP1 - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/restriction are required for the safety of the public and workforce while water connection works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

An alternative route is available via St Leonards Road, Waltham Road and vice versa (with access only into Laundry Lane).

The Order will come into effect on 28th September 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Mill Lane, High Laver/Moreton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Lane, High Laver/Moreton in the District of Epping Forest, from the junction with Church Road for a distance of approximately 350m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th October 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WF3DTM8YLA01 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while blockage clearance and cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Mill Lane, Harlow Road, High Laver Road, Church Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 28th September 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Mount Pleasant Road, Chigwell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mount Pleasant Road, Chigwell in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Warren Court for a distance of approximately 210m in a north-westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th October 2023 for 19 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MU093LPR-EALI-NL031 - Thames Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Thames Water.

An alternative route is available via Manor Road, Mount Pleasant Road and vice versa (with access only into Mount Pleasant Road).

The Order will come into effect on 28th September 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Paternoster Close, Waltham Abbey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Paternoster Close, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 10m northeast of its junction with Bramley Shaw for a distance of approximately 30m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th October 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MU093MCW-ESSE-NL-017322R - Thames Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains tap installation works are undertaken by Thames Water.

An alternative route is available via Paternoster Close, Broadgate, Bramley Shaw and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 28th September 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Pick Hill, Waltham Abbey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pick Hill, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 255m southeast of its junction with Amesbury for a distance of approximately 95m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th October 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MU093MCW-ESSE-NL-017626 - Thames Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while main tap installation works are undertaken by Thames Water.

An alternative route is available via Pick Hill, Horseshoe Hill, Woodgreen Road, Upshire Road, Paternoster Hill and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 28th September 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Silver Street, Waltham Abbey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Silver Street, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Leverton Way to its junction with Paradise Road a distance of approximately 60m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th October 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC00818OCTPQX319LN - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while ducting and cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Market Square, Sewardstone Street, Fountain Place and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 28th September 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Weald Bridge Road, Magdalen Laver) (Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in that length of Weald Bridge Road, Magdalen Laver in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 470m southwest of its junction with Ashlyns Lane for a distance of approximately 250m in a south-westerly direction. The restriction is scheduled to commence on 16th October 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410208162 - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pipe replacement works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

The Order will come into effect on 28th September 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Wellfields, Loughton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Wellfields, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 70m northeast of its junction with Church Lane for a distance of approximately 45m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th October 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (MU11300215532-00000002 - Thames Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while manhole cover replacement works are undertaken by Thames Water.

An alternative route is available via Church Lane, Church Hill, Rectory Lane and vice versa (with access only into Wellfields).

The Order will come into effect on 28th September 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Back Lane, Nazeing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Back Lane, Nazeing in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 325m northwest of its junction with Nazeing Common for a distance of approximately 60m in a north-westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on (6th October 2023) and then again on the (9th October 2023), or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SA003WD5N062R - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Back Lane, Betts Lane, Hoe Lane, Middle Street, Nazeing Common and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 14th September 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Maddox Road, Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Maddox Road, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from its junction with First Avenue to its junction with Howard Way a distance of approximately 1355m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd October 2023 for 4 nights (20:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2346464 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via First Avenue, Howard Way and vice versa.

(Middle Street, Nazeing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Middle Street, Nazeing in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Middle Street to its junction with Highland Road a distance of approximately 90m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd October 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2345051 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Middle Street, Nazeing Common, Waltham Road, B194 - St Leonards Road and vice versa.

(Southern Way, Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Southern Way, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from both of its junctions with A414 Between Southern Town Boundary and Harlow Mill Roundabout to its junction with Tracyes Road a distance of approximately 350m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th September 2023 for 3 nights (20:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2350024 -Essex Highways). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex Highways.

An alternative route is available via Southern Way, Tillwicks Road, Second Avenue, A414 Between Southern Town Boundary and Harlow Mill Roundabout and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 21st September 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, District of Epping Forest) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.5) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close those lengths of roads in the District of Epping Forest as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 14th September 2023, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the District of Harlow as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in those lengths of roads in the District of Harlow as specified in the schedule to this Order.

3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
