VARIATION OF RESIDENTS’ PERMIT PARKING CHARGES NOTICE (NO. 31) 2023

The City of Edinburgh Council in exercise of their powers under Section 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, by Act of Council of 23 February 2023 and 30 March 2023 have varied the parking charges set out in;

a) Schedule 6, and applying to the permit and shared use parking places in the roads with the zones listed below, as depicted on the relevant map tile and payable in terms of, Part 5 of the City of Edinburgh Council (Traffic Regulation; Restrictions on Waiting, Loading and Unloading, Stopping and Parking Places) Designation and Traffic Regulation Order 2018. The effect of the variation will be to amend the charges set out in Schedule 6 in the permit and shared use parking places depicted on the relevant map tile, or

b) Schedules 5 and 6, and payable in terms of, Part 5 of the Corporation of Edinburgh (Traffic Regulation; Restrictions on Waiting, Loading and Unloading and Parking Places) Traffic Regulation Order 1973. The effect of the variation will be to amend the charges set out in Schedule 10 in the parking places referred to in Schedules 5 and 6, as followsVehicles registered prior to March 2001 will have charges applied in relation to engine size.

Vehicles registered after March 2001 will have charges applied in relation to CO2 emissions.
