NOTICE OF VARIATION OF PARKING CHARGES

The Borough Council of Calderdale (Car Parks) (Consolidation) Order 2019 Notice Of Variation (No. 4) 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Borough Council of Calderdale, in exercise of its powers under Section 35C of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Regulation 25 of the Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 and of all other enabling powers, shall vary the tariffs for off-street parking charges in the following car parks in Sowerby Bridge.

This notice shall vary the tariffs set out in Schedule 1 to the Borough Council of Calderdale (Car Parks) (Consolidation) Order 2019 (as amended) (“the Order”). The existing tariffs and the new tariffs are listed below. In all other respects, the Order will remain unchanged. The changes will come into force on Monday 16th October 2023.

Variation of tariff in relation to Tuel Lane Car Park in Sowerby Bridge:

Existing Tariff                               New Tariff

Monday - Saturday                         Monday - Saturday

8am - 8pm                                      8am - 8pm

£0.50 per hour                                First 30 mins 30p, 60p per hour

Variation of tariff in relation to Stanley Street Car Park and West Street Car Park in Sowerby Bridge:

Existing Tariff                               New Tariff

Monday - Saturday                         Monday - Saturday

8am - 8pm                                      8am - 8pm

£0.40 per hour, capped at £2.40     £0.50 per hour, capped at £3.00
