What is happening?

U15 SCREMERSTON MAIN ROAD TO COCKLEY BURN CULVERT SCREMERSTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U15 Scremerston Main Road To Cockley Burn Culvert from its point outside of Scremerston Station heading in a westerly direction for a length of 47 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 23rd September 2023 until the 25th September 2023.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 23rd September 2023 until the 25th September 2023 between the hours of 00:10 until 05:00.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

The closure has been requested by Chevron Traffic Management Ltd on behalf of Network Rail to carry out drainage repairs.
