NOTICE OF A PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER

aT 'CLIFTON LODGE', LONGRIDGE
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2023

The above Order, made on 06 September 2023, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the footpath running from a point on Longridge FP0302029 at the junction with FP0302032 at SD 6166 3807, within the caravan park, in a south westerly direction on the caravan park internal road for 320 metres, then to the bottom of the quarry face at SD 6143 3784 and within the grounds of Clifton Lodge, to continue in a south easterly direction for 50 metres, to the boundary with the north western corner of the pasture field at SD 6146 3781, to continue for a further 165 metres in a south westerly direction to the junction with Bridleway BW0302036 and Tan Yard Lane at SD 6132 3773, and also starting from a point on FP0302029 at the junction with FP0302032 at SD 6166 3807, in a south easterly direction for 30 metres to the northern corner of field boundary, adjacent to south east boundary of Clifton Lodge at SD 6148 3778.

To a new line starting from the same point on FP0302029 at the junction with FP0302032 at SD 6166 3807, go in a south easterly direction for 10 metres, to a gate at northern end of field boundary, adjacent to the south east boundary of the caravan park at SD 6167 3805. Continue in a south westerly direction across open pasture for 335 metres, to the northern corner of field boundary, adjacent to the south east boundary of Clifton Lodge at SD 6148 3778. Enter pasture to the south east of Hollin Lodge and continue in a south westerly direction for 90 metres to field boundary at eastern corner of Hollin Hall Lodge at SD 6144 3770. Enter pasture and continue in a west south westerly direction for 110 metres to Tan Yard Lane at the southern corner of Hollin Hall Lodge a SD 6135 3764.

Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £1.00. Any representations about, or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to Simon Moore, Lancashire County Council, PO Box 100, County Hall, Preston, PR1 0LD (REF:LSG4/SM18/888.3344/PROW) not later than 19 October 2023. Please state the grounds on which they are made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Lancashire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
