Dukes Drive - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
DUKES DRIVE, BUXTON
WHEN: 9th October 2023 to 23rd October 2023
(between 08:00 to 16:00 each day)
WHERE: Dukes Drive, Buxton between junction
with A515 and Viaduct.
REASON: To facilitate drainage works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Dukes Drive, Bakewell
Road, A6, Dale Road B5059 , A515 London
Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever
reasonably possible, on the affected length of
road. The road will re-open as soon as the work
is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any
inconvenience caused while work takes place.

The County Council intends to make an Order
under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by
traffic.
