What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
UNNAMED SECTION OF B5035 FROM WIRKSWORTH MOOR TO DISTRICT BOUNDARY, WHATSTANDWELL
WHEN: 25th September 2023 to 13th October 2023
WHERE: Unnamed Section of B5035 from Wirksworth Moor to District Boundary, Whatstandwell between entrance to Meerbrook Farm and Ash Tree Cottage.
REASON: To facilitate repairs to retaining wall.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B5035 Wirksworth Road, A6 Derby Road, B5036 Market Place, The Hill, Steeple Grange, Cromford Road, Harrison Drive, Coldwell Street, Wash Green, Wirksworth Moor and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
