What is happening?

Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order:

U65210, Wood End Lane, Stoke Lacy, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U65210, Wood End Lane, Stoke Lacy, between Woodend Farm and The Ditchings. Grid Ret 363259 / 250427.

There is no alternate route for those affected by this proposal.

The said closure is required due to reinstatement defect remedials works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 4th of October 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
