What is happening?

LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 SECTIONS 123(1), (2A) LAND AT THE FORMER MOSS SIDE PROBATION OFFICE, 87 MOSS LANE WEST, MOSS SIDE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Manchester City Council intends to dispose of an area of approximately 9,300 sqm located at 87 Moss Lane West, Moss Side, which forms part of open space to Loretto Sixth Form College in order to enable the construction of a new education facility.
The area of land described above is more particularly shown edged red on the deposited plans, which may be inspected at the Customer Service Centre, Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA, between the hours of 9.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
Alternatively, copies of the documentation may be requested via email at phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or the postal address below.
Objections to the intended disposal must be made in writing and addressed to me via the above email address or, alternatively, the postal address below so as to be received no later than 16 October 2023.
