What is happening?
GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS (ALKINGTON PARISH AND BERKELEY TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the roads as detailed in the Schedule below. ("the Roads").

The reason for the closure is for the installation of electrical ducting.
The Roads are expected to be closed between 18th September 2023 and 15th December 2023,
where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. The intended closure Order can permit the closure and restriction of the Roads in any order, or simultaneously as required. Alternative Route - As signed on site. Emergency access to adjoining properties will be maintained. Pedestrian access will NOT be maintained due to the Excavation across a narrow lane.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE C283 LAMPERN HILL (ULEY PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C283 Lampern Hill Road, from its junction with Bencombe Gables, to outside the property known as Bencombe House, for a total distance of approximately 470 metres ("the Road").
The reason for the closure is to allow engineers to undertake works on an overhead structure.
The above road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 2nd October 2023 only, or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.
Alternative Route - as signed on site. Emergency and Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road will be maintained.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF 41470 UNION STREET (DURSLEY PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 41470 Union Street, Dursley from outside a property known as No. 1 Union Street to outside a property known as No. 26 Union Street for a distance of approximately 40 metres.
The reason for the closure is for new gas supply works to be carried out.
