What is happening?

Hysbysir Drwy Hyn Bod Cyngor Sir Fynwy, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA (“y Cyngor”) yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â’r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984: 
1.  Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 21ain Medi 2023 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw’n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw’r cynharaf. Rhagwelwyd i’r gwaith cael ei gwblhau ar 21ain Medi 2023, ganweithredu rhwng 09:00 a 17:00. 
2.  Roedd angen y Gorchymyn gan y bydd y briffordd yn cael eilleihau i un l gyda’r defnydd o oleuadau traffig dros dro er mwyngwneud gwaith polio mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad. 
3.  Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd lleihau’r terfyn cyflymder dros dro ar ran o’r  B4293 Tir Comin Nex i Cobblers Hill, Dyfawden, Sir Fynwy. 
4.  Gellir enwi’r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio TraffigDros Dro B4293 Tir Comin Nex i Cobblers Hill, Dyfawden, Sir Fynwy,2023. 
5.  Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy’n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.  Dyddiad: 20fed Medi 2023  Mark Hand Pennaeth Creu Lleoedd, Adfywio, Priffyrdd a Llifogydd    Cyngor Sir Fynwy Blwch SP 106 Cil-y-coed Sir Fynwy NP26 9AN  Lleihau’r Terfyn Cyflymder  B4293 Tir Comin Nex i Cobblers Hill, Dyfawden  Lleihau’r terfyn cyflymder o 60mya i 30mya. Notice Is Hereby Given That Monmouthshire County Council of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 do HEREBY ORDER AND DIRECT that for the purpose of the following regulations shall be observed: 
1.  The Order came into operation on the 21st September 2023 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed on 21st September 2023, operating between 09:00 – 17:00. 
2.  The order was necessary as the highway will be reduced to a single lane with the use of temporary traffic signals to allow for poling works to take place in a safe manner at the location. 
3.  The effect of the order was to temporarily reduce the speed limit on a section of the B4293 Nex Common to Cobblers Hill, Devauden, Monmouthshire. 
4.  This order may be cited as the B4293 Nex Common to Cobblers Hill, Devauden, Monmouthshire Speed Limit Reduction Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2023 
5.  By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.

Schedule  Speed Limit Reduction B4293 Nex Common to Cobblers Hill, Devauden  A reduction of the speed limit from 60mph to 30mph. Speed limit reduction starting south ~1.15km from its junction with Grange Park House Road for ~420m in a southerly direction.
