What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED) STAFFORD 10 K
Various Roads in The County of Staffordshire. Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council will make an Order on the 19/09/23 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in those roads in the Borough of Stafford that comprise the route of the Stafford 10K as summarised below. Any vehicle being used in connection with the event; or being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purpose will be exempt from the restrictions contained in the Order.
The restrictions are necessary to maintain the safety of all participants and road users. No alternative routes are advised for affected traffic as the restrictions will only be effective for so long as is necessary for the participants to pass.
The Order will not at any time prevent access of pedestrians to properties situated on or adjacent to any road to which the order relates or to any properties only accessible to pedestrians from such a road.
The route comprises of the roads below.
A5187 Victoria Rd, B5066 Tenterbanks, B5066 Mill Bank, Greengate St, Bridge St, A518 Lichfield Rd, A34 Queensway, A34 Lichfield Road, Riverway, Corporation St, Prospect Rd, Read Ave, Douglas Road West, Douglas Rd, Trenchard Ave, Portal Rd, A513 Beaconside, B5066 Sandon Rd, The Haybarn, The Isabel Trail, A5288 Doxey Rd, Doxey Rd, North Castle St, South St, Cycleway from Doxey Rd to Izaak Walton Walk, Izaak Walton Walk, Link Footway from Newport Rd to Mill Bank via Meadow Bridge, B5066 South Walls, Greengate Walk, Tipping St.
Further roads covered by this Order and in which may be restricted in order to help facilitate the event are:
Waterfront Way, Water St, South St, A518 Newport Rd, Crooked Bridge Rd, Tedder Rd, Castle St, Jerningham St, South St and A518 Weston Rd (at its junction with Corporation St and Riverway)
This Order will also require the Suspension of the One Way Order on Earl St for the duration of this Order. (The Bus Ln is suspended for the duration of this Order)
The temporary One Way Order on Chell Rd will be reversed for the duration of this Order.
Vehicular access into the town centre for St Mary’s Church, access to the Swan Hotel car park and the Broad St Taxi Rank will be available via Gaolgate St, Stafford St and Earl St.
Egress out of town will be available via Earl St and Chell Rd.
The left turn from Asda onto A34 Queensway is temporarily suspended for the duration of this Order.
The Limited Waiting bays 30 Mins (No Return 30 Mins) Monday-Saturday 9am-6pm on Mill St are temporarily suspended for the duration of this Order.
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to be loaded or unloaded for the Duration of this Order on Earl St.
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle from turning right from Tesco car park onto the A518 Newport Rd.
IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT THE ROADS WILL BE CLOSED FROM 06:30 HOURS. THE ROAD WILL RE-OPEN ONCE THE EVENT HAS CONCLUDED WHICH IS ANTICIPATED TO BE BY 12:30 HOURS.
The Order will come into operation on the 24/09/23 and will remain in force until the event has concluded. The event is being organised by Freedom Leisure, Stafford Leisure Centre, Lammascote Rd, Stafford.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 18/09/23 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit traffic along:
Within Ln, Hopton. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=135061675. The Order will come into operation on 25/09/23 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole testing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 19/09/23 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:

The Order will come into operation on 27/09/23 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the BT pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 27/09/23 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the BT pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
School Ln, Chebsey. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=134883800. The Order will come into operation on 26/09/23 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the tree trimming works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Blackwaters Rd, Offleyhay. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=134974836. The Order will come into operation on 29/09/23 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the tree trimming works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:
Old Rd, Stone. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=135194845. The Order will come into operation on 09/10/23 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 12/10/23. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the new gas service laying works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 10/10/23 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
