Chapel Street - Temporary Road Closure For Gas Service Connection Works
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY ORDER CHAPEL STREET, LONG EATON
WHEN: 9th October 2023 to 11th October 2023
WHERE: Chapel Street, Long Eaton between its junction with Main Street for a distance of 80 metres in a westerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate gas service connection works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Main Street, Oakleys Road, Craig Street, South Street, Chapel Street (to point of closure) Long Eaton and vice versa.
The road closure and one way suspension will be in force for the time stated or until the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
