Dancers Hill Road, Temporary Closure and Waiting Restrictions

What is happening?

HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN DANCERS HILL ROAD, BARNET) ORDER NO.2 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Dancers Hill Road, Barnet from its junction with Baker Street eastwards for a distance of approximately 70m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Baker Street, B556 Mutton Lane, A1000 Barnet Road and Dancers Hill Road.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on

18 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However

the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times

indicated by signs on or near the Road.

A copy of the proposed Orders may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9am and 5pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).
