SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER/S – PUBLIC NOTICES OF MAKING

NOTICE is hereby given that Shropshire Council (“The Council”) have made an Order/s under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 (as
amended), the effect of which is to restrict the use of roads as stated below. The Order/s for regulation is/are required for the purpose/s as stated below. There are
exemptions in the Order/s to permit pedestrian access (and/or vehicular access at the discretion of the Council or Statutory Undertaker) to any land or premises
having a frontage to the said highway affected where there is no other form of access, and to any access allowing the necessary works to be undertaken. Access
will be maintained for cyclists, pedestrians and dismounted horse riders unless stated below. The alternative route/s for those affected by the proposal/s is/are
as stated below.

The Order/s came into force on 25th September 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months (unless extended upon the direction of
the Secretary of State) or until any said works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is expected that the Order/s will only be operative for the duration
as stated below

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Ash Road, Whitchurch Date & Duration: 25th September 2023 for 5 days between 09:30 to 14:30 Purpose: Road Closure - Required to cable and joint fibre cable. Alternative Route : A525, B5395, A41, Bletchley road, Calverhall road

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using B4397 between Marton and Baschurch Date & Duration: 25th September 2023 for 1 day between 09:30 to 14:30 Purpose: Road Closure - Replace decayed poles Alternative Route : B4397, A528, B5067, B4397

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Bentleys Road, Market Drayton Date & Duration: 26th September 2023 between 08:00 to 16:00 Purpose: Road Closure - Decayed pole change - erect new pole. Alternative Route : Shrewsbury Road, Buntingsdale Road

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Big Walls, Ryton XI Towns Date & Duration: 26th September 2023 for 1 day Purpose: Road Closure - Replace decayed pole Alternative Route : Pound Lane, B4397, Little Ness Road

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Unnamed road between Compley and Botvyle, All Stretton Date & Duration: 26th September 2023 between 08:00 to 16:00 Purpose: Road Closure - National Grid, tree trimming works. Alternative Route : Unnamed road South West through Botvyle, Unnamed road North East, Unnamed road South East towards Comley

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Cheshire Street, Market Drayton Date & Duration: 25th September 2023 for 3 nights between 18:00 to Midnight Purpose: Road Closure - Clear duct blockages Alternative Route : Tower Lawns, Smithfield Road, Longlands Lane, Stafford Street, High Street, Shropshire Street

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Claremont Hill, Shrewsbury. At the same time the No Entry will be suspended at the junction of Claremont Bank Date & Duration: 25th September 2023 for 5 days Purpose: Road Closure - Cadent Gas, remedial works to rectify carriageway defects. Alternative Route : St Chads Terrace, St Johns Hill, Bellstone

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Croeswylan Lane, Oswestry Date & Duration: 27th September 2023 for 2 days between 09:30 to 15:30 Purpose: Road Closure - Laying new duct Alternative Route : Morda Road, Morda Bank, Trefonen Road

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Folley Road, Ackleton Date & Duration: 25th September 2023 for 5 days Purpose: Road Closure-National Grid-Road closure for cable diversion Alternative Route : Stableford Road, B4176, Folley Road

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Heathton, Near Claverley Date & Duration: 28th September 2023 for 2 days Purpose: Road Closure-Severn Trent Water-Bbox Install 25mm and Meter Alternative Route : High Street, Pound Street, Unnamed road South West, Unnamed road East, Unnamed road North

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Lower Road, Myddle Date & Duration: 25th September 2023 for 2 days Purpose: Road Closure - Defect Alternative Route : Lower Road, A528

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Unnamed road between Church Preen and Kenley Date & Duration: 30th September 2023 for 2 days Purpose: Road Closure - National Grid, remedial works to rectify defective reinstatement in carriageway. Alternative Route : Unnamed road East, Unnamed road North, Unnamed road South West

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using B5067 Berwick Road Date & Duration: 26th September 2023 for 4 days between 09:30 to 16:00 Purpose: Clearing/siding out of footway and removal of arisings from site. Alternative Route : B5067, B4397, A5, B4380, A458, Frankwell, Smithfield road, Coton Hill

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Love Lane, Cleobury Mortimer Date & Duration: 28th September 2023 between 09:30 to 14:45 Purpose: Multevo Carriageway repairs Alternative Route : Childe Road, A4117, Ronhill Lane

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using A49 Shrewsbury Road, Hadnall Date & Duration: 25th September 2023 for 13 days between 09:30 to 16:00 Purpose: Multevo carriageway repairs Alternative Route : A49, A41, A53, A49

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Unnamed road between B4176 Upper Aston and Halfpenny Green Date & Duration: 27th September 2023 for 2 days between 09:30 to 16:00 Purpose: Replacement of road markings Alternative Route : Unnamed road South, Tom Lane, B4176

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Wenlock Road, Bridgnorth Date & Duration: 28th September 2023 for 2 days 09:30 to 16:00 Purpose: Road marking replacement Alternative Route : Wenlock Road, Ludlow Road, A458

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Rowton Avenue, Rowton Date & Duration: 27th September 2023 for 3 days Purpose: Road Closure - Severn Trent Water, hydrant renew. Alternative Route : A458, B4393, Rowton Avenue

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using St Marys Street, Whitchurch Date & Duration: 25th September 2023 for 3 nights between 18:00 to Midnight Purpose: Road Closure - Clear blockages and ducting Alternative Route : Church Street, High Street, Shropshire Street

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Unnamed road between Haytons Bent and Scrimedge Date & Duration: 25th September 2023 for 2 days Purpose: Road Closure-Severn Trent Water- Bbox Install 25mm and Meter Alternative Route : Unnamed road South West towards Haytons Bent, Unnamed road East through Hopton Cangeford, Unnamed road North, Scrimedge Lane

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from travelling at anymore than 40mph on the B4386 between A5 and Cruckton as directed by signage on site. Date & Duration: 25th September 2023 for 4 days Purpose: Temporary Speed Limit - Severn Trent Water, new water connection. During the works there will be temporary two signals with a temporary speed limit of 40mph in place. Alternative Route : Not applicable
