What is happening?

Manchester City Council proposes to make the following orders under the Road Traffic Regulation act 1984. The tiles and effect of the Orders is as follows; P2511 CITY OF MANCHESTER (CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE) (MANCHESTER CITY CENTRE) (No.18) AMENDMENT No.23 ORDER 2023 P & D Parking 2 Hrs., No Return1 Hr. 8am-8pm on: Jacksons Row N side from a point 13.6m E of Deansgate in an E direction for 35.4m. Lloyd St S side from a point 13.6m E of Deansgate in an E direction for 47.4m Disabled Persons Parking Place on: Jacksons Row N side from a point 7m E of Deansgate in an E direction for 6.6m. Lloyd St S side b from a point 7m E of Deansgate in an E direction for 6.6m P2525 CITY OF MANCHESTER (PETER ST, MANCHESTER) (REVOCATION OF NO LEFT TURN) ORDER 2023. The proposed Order seeks to revoke the No left turn restriction on Peter St, SE bound carriageway at Southmill St P2526 CITY OF MANCHESTER (CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE) (MANCHESTER CITY CENTRE) (NO.12 CONSOLIDATION) AMENDMENT NO.11 ORDER 2023 Loading Parking Place Mon-Sun 6am-10. 30am.Max stay 15 mins on Deansgate-the NW side from a point 54m SW of Blackfriars St in a SW direction to a point 30m NE of St. Mary’s St The parking charge for use of the Pay and Display parking place referred to above is set out in the Schedule to this Notice. The classes of vehicles which may use the Pay and Display parking place are passenger vehicles, goods vehicles, motorcycles, disabled person’s vehicles or invalid carriages. City Centre residents whose vehicles display a valid residents parking permit will be able to park in the Pay and Display parking place between 8.00am-9.00am and 5.00pm-8.00pm on Monday to Friday and between 8.00am-8.00pm on Saturday and Sunday. Residents permit holders whose vehicles display a valid convenience ticket together with a valid residents parking permit will be able to park in the Pay and Display parking place for up to 4 hours on Monday to Friday (between 9.00am and 1.00pm or 1.00pm and 5.00pm). Existing Orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with the proposals. Copies of the proposed Order together with the statement of reasons and plans showing the proposals may be inspected by appointment at the Customer Service Centre Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between hours of 9am and 4.30pm on Monday to Friday. Please email or write into the address below for a copy of the documents.
