What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
STATION ROAD / HARDSTOFT ROAD, PILSLEY
WHEN: 4th October 2023 to 31st December 2023 (any 5 days between dates) WHERE: Station Road / Hardstoft Road, Pilsley between its junction with New Street for a distance of 540 metres in a north easterly direction. REASON: To facilitate micro asphalt carriageway resurfacing works. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Station Road (from point of closure), Church Street, Bridge Street, Rupert Street, Parkhouse Road, Little Morton Road, A6175, B6039, Hardstoft Road (to point of closure) and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
