What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
A624 HAYFIELD ROAD, CHINLEY
WHEN: 15th September 2023 to 24th September 2023
WHERE: Hayfield Road, Chinley at low railway bridge between junction with B6062 and A624 at junction with Maybank Close.
REASON: To facilitate maintenance and brick work repairs to bridge.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Buxton Road, Hayfield Road, Foresters Way, Chapel Bypass, Bowden Lane, Bridgemont, Albion Road, Low Leighton Road, New Mills Road, Chapel Road, Close to Hayfield Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
