ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)

Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s): ORDER NO. MCC000135544300.

The City of Manchester (Mancunian Way Slip Road & Baring Street, Piccadilly Ward) (Temporary Suspension of One- Way Traffic & Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2023 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order is to suspend the One-Way traffic restriction & Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic on Mancunian Way Slip Road from junction with London Road and onto Baring Street to Buxton Street.

The City Council is satisfied that this suspension is necessary in order to facilitate groundworks to realign the kerb alignment on the junction.

Allow construction access to the Mayfield development. Allow construction vehicles to exit the Mayfield development via Baring Street to prevent vehicles exiting at uncontrolled junction onto London Road (A6).

It is expected that the works will be in progress from 25th September 2023 to 25th March 2025.

The Order shall come into operation on 25th September 2023 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.

If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter.
