TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH ST PAUL’S WALDEN 33
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath St Paul’s Walden 33, heading south and west approximately 45m from junction with High Street, for an approximate distance of 20m.
Alternative Route: via field edge toward junction with footpath 32.
The purpose of the Order is to enable electrical works to take place.
The section of Footpath St Paul’s Walden 33 will be closed on or after 02 October 2023 for up to 1 week, when signs are in place.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN STANSTEAD ROAD, HODDESDON/STANSTEAD ST MARGARETS AND BROMLEY LANE, STANDON/MUCH HADHAM) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Stanstead Road, Hoddesdon/Stanstead St Margarets from its junction with Burford Gardens north eastwards to its junction with Hoddesdon Road, a distance of approximately 1900m.
An alternative route will be via Burford Street, A1170 (Dinant Link Road/ Amwell Street/Ware Road), B181 Station Road and Hoddesdon Road.
2. that length of Bromley Lane, Standon/Much Hadham from its junction with Hadham Road south eastwards to its junction with C15 (unnamed road), a distance of approximately 3125m.
An alternative route will be via Hadham Road, High Street, A120 (Stortford Road/ Standon Road), Standon Road, The Ash, The Ford and C15 (unnamed road).
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 October 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN HODDESDON) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. the A1170 Charlton Way/Lampits roundabout, Hoddesdon from its junction with Brewery Road clockwise for its entire length.
An alternative route will be via Brewery Road, Burford Street, High Street and A1170 Charlton Way or via A1170 (Charlton Way/Dinant Link Road), A10 (Hoddesdon Link Road/unnamed road/Turnford Link Road) and A1170 High Road/High Street/Charlton Way).
2. that length of A1170 Charlton Way, Hoddesdon from its junction with the Brewery Road/Lampits roundabout north eastwards to its junction with the A1170 Dinant Link Road/Essex Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 106m.
An alternative route will be via A1170 (Charlton Way/High Street/High Road), A10 (Turnford Link Road/unnamed road/Hoddesdon Link Road) and A1170 Dinant Link Road.
3. that length of Lampits, Hoddesdon from its junction with the A1170 Charlton Way/Brewery Road roundabout south eastwards for a distance of approximately 36m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
4. that length of A1170 Charlton Way, Hoddesdon from its junction with A1170 High Street north eastwards to its junction with the Brewery Road/ Lampits roundabout, a distance of approximately 533m.
An alternative route will be via A1170 (High Street/High Road), A10 (Turnford Link Road/unnamed road/Hoddesdon Link Road) and A1170 (Dinant Link Road/Charlton Way).
5. that length of Haslewood Avenue, Hoddesdon from its junction with Burford Street north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Brewery Road, a distance of approximately 277m.
An alternative route will be via Burford Street, High Street, A1170 Charlton Way and Brewery Road.
6. that length of Brewery Road, Hoddesdon from its junction with the ’Sainsburys’ access road roundabout south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with the A1170 Charlton Way/Lampits roundabout, a distance of approximately 135m.
An alternative route will be via Brewery Road, Burford Street, High Street, Amwell Street and A1170 (Dinant Link Road/Charlton Way).
7. that length of Conduit Lane, Hoddesdon from its junction with High Street south eastwards to its junction with A1170 Charlton Way, a distance of approximately 229m.
An alternative route will be via High Street, Amwell Street and A1170 (Dinant Link Road/Charlton Way).
ADDITIONALLY the existing prohibition of entry, except buses and pedal cycles Order on Brewery Road, Hoddesdon will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to enter this length of road, whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 1 October 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BELLS HILL, BISHOPS STORTFORD) ORDER NO.2 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bells Hill, Bishops Stortford from its junction with Regency Close south eastwards to its junction with the B1004 Windhill/Windhill Old Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 60m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Bells Hill, A1250 Hadham Road, B1529 North Road and B1004 (High Street/Windhill).
The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing street lighting column is proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 October 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Halstead Hill, Goffs Oak from its junction with Silver Street north westwards and northwards to its junction with B156 Goffs Lane, a distance of approximately 421m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Silver Street, Jones Road and B156 (Cuffley Hill/Goffs Lane).
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 October 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Ermine Street, Colliers End from its junction with Old Hall Green south westwards to its junction with Dowsetts Lane, a distance of approximately 331m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Ermine Street, A10 (Wadesmill Bypass/ unnamed road), A1170 Wadesmill Road, Cambridge Road, High Road and Ermine Street or via Ermine Street, High Road, Cambridge Road, A10 Wadesmill Bypass and Ermine Street.
The Order is needed because tree cutting works are proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 5 October 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of 3U42 (unnamed road), Green Tye from a point 177m north east of its junction with Stansted Hill north eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 200m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via 3U42 (unnamed road), Stansted Hill, Danebridge Road, B1004 Great Hadham Road, Aerodrome Road and 3U42 (unnamed road).
The Order is needed because gas service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

1. that length of Appleby Street, Cheshunt from its junction with Cheshunt Restricted Byway No.031 north westwards to its junction with Smiths Lane, a distance of approximately 125m.
An alternative route will be via Appleby Street, Highfield Road, Pear Tree Walk, Maycroft Road, Hammondstreet Road and Smiths Lane.
2. that length of Pear Tree Walk, Cheshunt from its junction with The Mount north eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 70m.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using Cheshunt Public Footpath No.043 from its junction with Bluebell Drive south westwards for a distance of approximately 30m (“the Public Footpath”).
There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this public footpath will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Public Footpath.

A copy of the proposed Orders may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9am and 5pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).
The making of Traffic Regulation Orders is a statutory function of the County Council. Any personal data you provide in responding to these Notices will be treated as confidential but will be shared with HCC Officers; County Councillors and contracted third parties who are involved in the statutory process. We will not share identifiable data with third parties outside of the statutory process.
