What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

(Church Ln, Latimer) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Church Ln for approx 168M. Alternative route: Church Ln, The Village, Flaunden Bottom, Hockley Bottom and vice versa. The closure is required whilst electrical cables are laid commencing on 25 September 2023 between 00:00 and 23:59. The proposed Order will come into operation on 25 September 2023, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Frieth Rd, Frieth) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Frieth Rd for approx 166M. Alternative route: Frieth Rd, Moorend Common, Moor Common, Church Rd, Old Sun Close, Finings Rd, The Row, High St, Marlow Rd, Seymour Court Rd, Dean St, Queens Rd, Oxford Rd, Chalkpit Ln, Bovingdon Green and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a water connection commences on 18 September 2023 between 00:00 and 23:59. The proposed Order will come into operation on 18 September 2023, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Grubbins Ln, Speen) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Grubbins Ln for approx 229M. The closure is required whilst duct is laid and toby boxes installed commencing on 19 September 2023 between 08:00 and 18:30. The proposed Order will come into operation on 19 September 2023, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Mill Ln, Chalfont St Giles) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Mill Ln for approx 248M. Alternative route: Bottrells Ln, Silver Hill, Up Corner, High St, Pheasant Hill, Amersham Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst pole replacement commences on 4 September 2023 between 08:00 and 18:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 4 September 2023, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Vale Rd, Chesham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Vale Rd for approx 24M. Alternative route: Greenway, Upper Belmont Rd, Great Hivings, Mount Nugent, Hivings Hill, Bellingdon Rd, St Marys Way, Brd St, Berkhampstead Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst manhole patching commences on 4 September 2023 between 09:30 and 15:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 4 September 2023, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Church Rd, Ln End) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Church Rd for approx 109M. Alternative route: Church Rd, Old Sun Close, Finings Rd, Fingest Ln, Frieth Rd, Moorend Common, Moor Common and vice versa. The closure is required whilst water connection commences on 6 September 2023 between 09:00 and 18:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 6 September 2023, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Two Dells Ln, Ashley Green) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Two Dells Ln for approx 33M. Alternative route: Two Dells Ln, Chesham Rd, Ashley Green Rd, Lycrome Rd, Rushmere Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst pole replacement commences on 9 September 2023 between 09:30 and 15:30. The proposed Order will come into operation on 9 September 2023, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Coates Ln, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Coates Ln for approximately 362M. Alternative route: Coates Ln, Commonside, High St, Plomer Green Ln, Plomer Hill, The Pastures, West Wycombe Rd, Oxford Rd, Arch Way, Glenisters Rd, Hughenden Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst drainage works for 4 new barns commence on 18 September 2023. The proposed Order will come into operation on 18 September 2023, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

Public Footpath No. 2, Dorton (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2023 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Footpath No. 2, Dorton, at railway level crossing from a point 520M east from Dorton Road for approx. 50M. The closure is required in the interest of public safety whilst renewal works of railway track are being undertaken Alternative route is via Existing Highways. The proposed Order will come into operation on 23 September 2023 as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

Public Footpath No. 17, Marlow (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2023 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Footpath No. 17, Marlow between Newtown Road and Parkway. The closure is required in the interest of public safety due to ground investigation being carried out. Alternative route is via Existing Highways. The proposed Order will come into operation on 25 September 2023 as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

Public Footpath No.1 & No.29, Marlow (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2023 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No.1, Marlow from a point approximately 116M south west from the junction of Public Footpath No.23, Marlow to a point approximately 173M south west of Public Footpath No.23, Marlow and Public Footpath No.29, Marlow, from the junction of Public Byway Open to all Traffic No.28, Marlow, to the junction of Public Footpath No.1, Marlow. The closure is required whilst works are being carried out for Tree Clearance. Alternative Route will be signposted parallel to the existing Right of Way. The proposed Order will come into operation on 18th September 2023, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
