Captin Fold Road Area - Road Revocation For 20mph Speed Limit

What is happening?

The Council of the City of Salford proposes to make The City of
Salford (Captin Fold Road Area, Little Hulton) (20mph Speed
Limit and Revocation) Order 2023 under the Road Traffic
Regulations Act 1984. The proposed Order shall prohibit any
person driving any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 20mph
on Captain Fold Road, Old Lane, Bank Lane, Upland Drive, Gorse
Drive, Arley Street, Moorhey Road, Bullows Road, Newcombe
Drive, Wellstock Lane, Spa Lane, Spa Grove, Spa Crescent, Marsh
Hey Close, Newgate Drive, Moorland Drive, Oldwells Close, Bank
Grove for their entire length and Anchor Lane from its junction with
Newcombe Drive north for 50m. An Existing Order is to be revoked
so as to be consistent with the proposals. A copy of the proposed
Order, a plan of the area and statement of the Council’s reasons
for proposing to make the above Order can be viewed online at
http://www.salford.gov.uk/parking-roads-and-travel/roads/trafficorders/.
